New things to look for in 2010:
- More Prototypical and fully functional NORAC signals around the layout!
- All trains operate with Digital Command Control. Many locomotives make realistic sound!
- Completed industries at the west end of Albatross Yard
- Continued progress on all facets of the Passenger Terminal
- New home for the Blatz Brewery at Doug Tower
- Completion of the Robertsdale coal mine scene
- Completion of the Sawmill at Middletown
- Completion of the overhead electrification in Norristown
- Fully functional turntable, roundhouse, and surrounding Engine Facility tracks
- Lighting in more buildings along the railroad and working grade crossing lights
- More Scenery, Ballasting, and Super Details all over the layout
As always, an assortment of REFRESHMENTS will be sold. Be sure to take advantage of our new GRAND STAND for young children to view the trains from! In addition to passenger and freight trains found on the prototype, we will be running our famous SANTA CLAUS EXPRESS. Also touring the Garden State Northern will be THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!
In addition, we operate a cooperative Open House with the Model Engineers Railroad Club of North Jersey, located next door!
Combination tickets to view both Clubs during an Open House can be purchased either at the HO scale GSMRRClub or the O scale MERRCNJ for an additional, discounted fee. We would greatly appreciate it if you would Download our Flyer and help spread the word.
Thomas the Tank Engine, alongside Hogwart's Express, await the arrival of the GSN's High Mountain Flyer at Middletown Station.
