Virtual Layout Tour
Walterville
A New York Central passenger train, lead by a pair of E-8s, slows to a stop under the foot bridge in Walterville Station.
Walterville is an industrial town just east of BOB Tower, and west of the Oil Refinery.
The Mainline through Walterville is three tracks wide. The third track here starts and
ends at DOUG tower, just to the east, and WJ tower, in the River Scene.
Walterville is home to a passenger station and an industrial spur that serves a powerplant,
a factory, and the Stepan Chemical Plant.
An Eastbound Erie-Lackawanna freight blasts through Walterville on the center track while a GSN switcher prepares to pick up cars
from a local industry. A 1987 Plymouth Horizon beats the switcher to the grade crossing.
